This feeder features an attractive leaf-design cage around the feeder tube. Whenever a squirrel lands on the feeder their weight will trigger the cage to drop down, thus blocking access to the bird feed inside. The metal cage also helps prevent squirrels and other rodents from chewing through the feeder tube.
